Things at school seem to have been going along pretty smoothly for Bubba*.
He’s more willing to be helpful, he follows the class routine more now than he used to. He’s not always doing something different from the rest of the class, which was the case last year (though it was by all accounts a great year for my Bub.)
And, he’s learning to maintain better impulse control when he is faced with school work that he thinks is foolish.
Most of the time.

On the bright side, at least he has no trouble communicating his emotions through his artwork.
If he ever becomes the cartoonist he aspires to be, these worksheets are going to be my retirement…
*Disclaimer: Because any time I say something like this, things blow up and the boy regresses in some crazy, totally unexpected way, I am just saying they “seem” to be going well. Not that they “are”. Cuz if they were, they wouldn’t any more. But let’s not jinx it all by talking about it, OK? OK.
